The Closet Confessional is an act of guided introspection in the midst of physical and communal engagement aka a dance party. Utilizing the anonymity of the confessional, familiarity of pop culture, and the activation of the body; the “counselor” uses prompts to facilitate conversation about the party-goers’ current ability to engage with and care for the well-being of the dance floor by assessing their ability to participate in it fully.
Upon, reflection, party-goes are offered acts of penance to perform on the dance floor in hopes that they can fancy foot a little lighter having obtained absolution.
